Cass City PROMISE is looking for local property owners who would like to have FREE tree(s) planted on their property by Cass City students. You can select where on your property you would like a tree planted and what type of tree(s) you would like planted. You do not have to be present during the event. The PROMISE is also looking for adult volunteers who would like to support the community tree planting day.

The Cass City PROMISE strives to stimulate the community by creating a culture and financial support for postsecondary education (college or trade school) for ALL Cass City High School graduates.
Several community benefits of the PROMISE include
Improved life opportunities and prosperity for high school graduates,
Increased student enrollment and quality resources for schools,
enriched relationships and connectedness between all K-12 students and Cass City residents via on-going student community service
Enhanced economic growth and development for the community, and
Heightened community involvement and pride.
The PROMISE is managed by the Cass City PROMISE organization, with significant partner support from Thumb Bank and Trust, Cass City Public Schools and Sanilac Community Foundation.
Components of the PROMISE include both a Children’s Savings Account (Red Hawk NEST EGG) and Educational Stipend (Red Hawk FLIGHT). The Red Hawk NEST EGG is slated to begin during the 2020-2021 school year, while the Red Hawk FLIGHT will commence in the future (when financial capacity allows).
